Who is responsible

The data controller for this site is Valkyron Labs. Contact hello@valkyronlabs.si for privacy requests. HomeRemodelCalc is built for anonymous use: you do not create an account, and the measurements you type are not sent to our server as a saved project.

Calculator inputs

Quantities are calculated in your browser. The numbers you type stay in the page unless you contact us and include them in an email. A later visit can remember a unit choice in local storage on your device. You can clear that storage in your browser settings.

Analytics

When enabled, the site loads Google Analytics 4 to count page views. It may set a cookie or a similar identifier only after you accept. Analytics storage stays denied until you accept in the banner. How Google uses data from sites that use its services is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject analytics, or to change that choice later. You can also block cookies in your browser. The calculators work either way. The choice is stored in local storage on your device.

Error logs

When error reporting is enabled, diagnostic data about a failed request can be sent to Sentry so we can fix the page. That can include the address of the page, a browser error, and technical request context.

Messages you send

If you email hello@valkyronlabs.si, we keep the message long enough to answer it, fix the issue, or follow up on a calculator request. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Retention and your rights

Server logs and error reports are kept only as long as we need them to operate and secure the site. Analytics retention follows the Google Analytics setting on the property.

If the GDPR applies to you, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal data we hold, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Send requests to hello@valkyronlabs.si.
